Surfing at all levels all year round

The Canary Islands have ideal conditions for kitesurfing, windsurfing, surfing and bodyboarding. Thanks to a climate with temperatures from 19 to 25 °C year-round, clear days, beaches with crystal-clear water and breaking waves of all kinds, these islands are a perfect destination for surfers from all over Europe.

Las Americas — Most Famous Spot

In the large tourist center of Playa de las Américas is the most famous surf spot on the island. The area allows surfing, bodyboarding and Stand Up Paddle. The left wave at Las Palmeras is a spot located on volcanic ground, known for its long wave with several sections. The best period is between October and March, waves 1–3 meters.

Igueste de San Andrés — Left Wave

Igueste de San Andrés — Left Wave

On the northeast coast of the island, near the village of Igueste de San Andrés, is one of the best left waves on the island. On volcanic rocky ground forms a long wave with a high crest. The most regular conditions are from September to May.
